About Patti

I launched PLD agency in 2008 just as a big recession hit, and it taught me invaluable lessons to be creative, resilient and adaptable. I'm incessantly driven by my internal question, "how can I make this better?" This motivates me to lean in, solve problems and dissolve obstacles.

I hold a Master's in Business Administration, a Bachelor's in graphic design and a patent for a UI/UX design. I have over 30 years professional experience in creative leadership and visual storytelling.

My superpower is my ability to sort through technical data, graphs and articles and emerge with a cohesive brand and persuasive storyline. I build brands that amplify uniqueness, intellectually inspire and visually stimulate. My clients tell me I'm very good at what I do and as a result, I exist solely on referrals.

My two children are grown, my nest is empty and it's too early to retire. This enables me to focus on the types of work that intellectually inspire me and really light me up. I balance this with play time with my husband in the mountains and on the water. I fuel my creativity with espresso and dark chocolate.

Pivoting out of 2020, my revelations have become my practice:

Family first, as there is no substitute for their love and care.
When I take care of myself, my creativity is vibrant and abundant.
Live everyday with adventure! We live the sunny side of the year on a boat in Napa Valley where I paddle board or waterski before my morning client video meetings. (Ignore my wet hair.)
